Due to their shape and the air circulation grove between the dome and the flashing, water condensation is prevented, even when there is a quick drop in the outside temperature.
However, under high degree humidity conditions, a bivalve dome should be installed, which, to provide improved insulation, prevents excessively quick cooling down which in turn guarantees the prevention of the forming of condensation risk on the inside of the dome.
Consequently, the use of bivalve domes is recommended for premises with air conditioning, and always providing heat and sound insulation is required in the building.
